Women’s Frozen Four 2013: Minnesota puts perfect season on line vs. Boston College
Minnesota looks to keep their perfect season alive against Boston College on Friday night.

In addition to their perfect record, Minnesota will also have the advantage of a home crowd as the Frozen Four is being hosted at Ridder Arena in Minneapolis. The Gophers will be riding an NCAA record 47-game winning streak into the contest and are seeking a shot to defend their 2012 National Championship.
Following their 3-2 victory over North Dakota on Saturday, Minnesota is two wins shy of becoming the first undefeated team in NCAA history.
Boston College will enter the contest off a 3-1 victory over Harvard last Saturday. The team has had success in offensive output (averaging 4.36 goals per game), which is largely supplemented by their ability to score on the power play (27.6 percent success rate, ranked third in the nation).
Minnesota and Boston College have yet to play this season. The Gophers hold a 3-1-1 all-time edge over the Eagles.
