When Brad Keselowski won the Sprint Cup Series championship last November he had a well-publicized celebration that included him chugging beer in the midst of being interviewed on SportsCenter.

Brad Keselowski knows there is a balance between having fun and being responsible and that was the message he wanted to promote in a new commercial for sponsor Miller Lite.
Although many took no issue with Keselowski being caught up in the moment and enjoying the fruit of his spoils, there were some who were critical of NASCAR’s newly crowned champ being inebriated in the middle of an ESPN interview.
Keselowski, however, wasn’t bothered by the criticism.
“I believe in life and balance, and if you are going to have some fun you have to balance that with something else,” Keselowski said Friday at Auto Club Speedway. “Don’t get me wrong, I had fun doing the commercial, but it is good to spread the message that when you do have some fun to do it in a responsible way. I have no regrets.”
But Keselowski wanted it to be known that when you do drink, to do so responsibly. And that is why he was enthusiastic to star in a new commercial for sponsor Miller Lite where he is shown as the designated driver while out for a night with his buddies.
“I had a lot of fun at the banquet and after the Homestead race and I felt like personally that countering that with a responsibility message was not a bad thing to do,” Keselowski said. “I jumped at the opportunity when Miller gave it to me to do something responsibility-wise. I think it is a great spot as far as that is concerned.”
The commercial has been airing frequently during the NCAA tournament and shows Keselowski and three friends sitting at a bar trying impress a waitress by telling her that they are in a band named “Neon Tiger Wings.”
The waitress in question is a singer from California and she will be in attendance this weekend. When asked if he got the number of the actress, Keselowski coyly said “maybe” and wouldn’t elaborate further.
