“It’s a new pitch I’ve been working on,” Hudson said. “I was going to wait until the All-Star break to break it out. But it’s been so good lately I think I’m going to break it out right away.”
Alas, if you read the story you’ll the see whole thing was a joke. I mean, Hudson did throw LaRoche a knuckleball. But it’s part of a running gag, and I’d say the odds are 100-to-1 against Hudson ever throwing a knuckler in a regular-season game.
