John Wall has been in the news lately because of what he thinks his upcoming contract ought to be worth. Wall and his agent will tell you he's worth a maximum deal. Others around the NBA aren't so sure. It appears that Wall has figured out the best way to make people see things his way: play at a ridiculously high level.

Wall has been on fire lately and his Washington Wizards have been right there with him. On Monday night, the Wizards secured a 107-94 home win against the Memphis Grizzlies. How did a lottery-bound team take down one of the best teams in the Western Conference? Two words: John. Wall.

Wall posted a line of 47 points, eight assists and seven rebounds. He shot 13-of-22 from the field and drained 19-of-24 free throws. He was hitting shots from all over the floor and, to round out a near flawless night, Wall had just two turnovers.
