Pittsburgh Penguins superstar center Evgeni Malkin is returning, the team announced on Monday. The Penguins will face the Tampa Bay Lightning in the first game back after a three-game road trip.

The Penguins center will be back on the ice on Monday after missing four games with a concussion.

The Penguins center suffered a concussion on Feb. 22 against the Florida Panthers when he was tangled up driving the net and fell awkwardly into the boards. Since his injury the Penguins have gone 2-2-0, although the team's goal scoring has certainly not slacked off -- Pittsburgh has scored 22 goals in the four games since Malkin was injured.
Malkin is third on the team in scoring with four goals and 17 assists in 18 games and is a minus-4 on the season. Malkin continues to have a an absurdly low shot percentage (6.7 percent) while still putting an incredible amount of shots on net; Malkin is third on the team with 60 shots on the season.
The center will be back on his regular line with James Neal and Matt Cooke.
