We all know that the NCAA is reprehensible in 10 different ways, but outside of hardcore sports fans who follow the news cycle closely, it still feels like most outsiders remain pretty indifferent to all this stuff. That’s why it’s always great to have someone like Jon Stewart and The Daily Show turn their attention to college sports and the NCAA’s ridiculousness. These are points that can’t be made enough.
The Daily Show takes on the NCAA’s neverending stupidity
“Don’t forget, the NCAA is also giving them the gift that is education.”

So here’s Aasif Mandvi on the NCAA. Highlights include:
-- “Lemme tell you your first problem: You’re rapping under the name Joel Bauman.”
-- “Don’t forget, the NCAA is also giving them the gift that is education.”
-- “The NCAA’s total revenue is only $6 billion. So, it’s not that many billions.”
-- [the NCAA refuses to appear on camera for an interview] “What are you, Phillip Morris? I’ve spoken to racist Islamophobes, I have spoken to a guy who makes asbestos, you’re the NCAA.”
It’s all pretty perfect. Watch the full video below:
