The origin or cause of the two explosions in the Copley Square area is still unknown, but New York police are obviously exercising caution in response.
Around 3 p.m. ET, multiple explosions occurred near the finish line of the Marathon. The finish is in the Copley Square area on Boylston Street, and it’s filled with both runners and spectators who attend the annual Patriots’ Day race.
