Boston Marathon explosion: Cell phone service reportedly shut down downtown
As the aftermath of the Boston explosion unfolds, authorities have reportedly shut down cell phone service in the downtown area.

The Boston Marathon explosion that killed at least two people is still being investigated at the moment. To prevent any possible remote detonations in the near future, the city has reportedly shut down cell phone service for now:

It’s unknown whether this affects the entire city, part of the city or just the immediate area surrounding the marathon.
