The NBA didn’t take kindly to Iman Shumpert’s Adidas haircut

Nothing a little buzz can’t fix.

It was only a matter of time before someone made a stink about Iman Shumpert's follicular representation of his shoe brand's logo. Shumpert -- who's recently taken to shaving designs into the back of his signature high-top fade -- showed up to Friday's Knicks-Bucks game with an Adidas logo on his noggin. It was a short-lived look:

Adidas is the league apparel provider, but with television and sponsors and stuff, there are very particular rules about what branding can and cannot ride players onto the floor. A corporate emblem right on the skull of a player violates..some rule. It must. (Of course, Shumpert's teammate, Carmelo Anthony, has a WB logo inked onto his left arm. There's only so much the league can do.)

Anyway, Shumpert trimmed off the Adidas detail, and is now left with just an empty triangle. Problem solved. Well...it kinda looks like the Peak logo now, but we’ll let it go.
