Fandango has upset Chris Jericho in his first actual WWE match, taking advantage of an injury to the legend’s knee en route to victory.
WrestleMania 29 results: Fandango ‘upsets’ Chris Jericho in debut
Minutes after three tired gimmicks were shoved into one match, a fantastic new gimmick took off. You’ve made up for it, WWE.

The match started with Jericho picking on his reportedly inexperienced adversary, picking him apart easily. Eventually, Fandango fought back with a few counters and an even match emerged. Jericho attempted to finish off Fandango with the Walls of Jericho a couple of times, but appeared to injure his knee on his second attempt and was unable to lock it in. Fandango spotted the injury and rolled over Jericho, holding him down for three seconds to score a pin.
What do you know, the guy who has a funny dancing schtick can actually wrestle! Those who watch WWE outside of WrestleMania should get to reap the rewards of this feud for months.
