Jason Day, the 25th-ranked player in the world, is the Wednesday night favorite to win this week’s HP Byron Nelson Championship, being played at the TPC Four Seasons Resort in Irving, Texas. Bodog has installed Day as a 12/1 favorite to take the title. Day has yet to win on the PGA Tour this year, but did finish third at The Masters and Accenture World Match Play Championship. He finished ninth at last year’s Byron Nelson, and won this event in 2010.
Byron Nelson Championship 2013 odds: Jason Day the Wednesday favorite
Matt Kuchar, Jason Dufner and Keegan Bradley also favored in high-caliber field.

Matt Kuchar is second on the wagering form at 14/1. Kuchar has not won since last year’s Players Championship, but does have two straight top-15 finishes at the Byron Nelson. Defending champion Jason Dufner is third on the odds list at 16/1. Keegan Bradley is at 18/1, despite missing two consecutive cuts; Bradley did win the 2011 Byron Nelson in a playoff against Ryan Palmer. Former Masters champ Charl Schwartzel and former British Open champ Louis Oosthuizen are joined at 20/1 by Marc Leishman, who has finished in the top 10 in the last three tournaments he has entered.
Play at the HP Byron Nelson Championship begins Thursday morning, with television coverage on Golf Channel beginning at 3 p.m. ET.
