LUNCH JUDGMENT: Tell Jon about your lunch, and he will rate it from one to 10

Presenting the SB Nation debut of Lunch Judgment. Did you eat a lunch today? Leave a comment describing it, and Jon will let you know whether it was any good.

This is a special day, everyone, because today we celebrate the return of LUNCH JUDGMENT. Having previously run on Progressive Boink, it’s making its debut on SB Nation.

Here is how it works:

1. You leave a comment below, describing the lunch you have eaten or are eating today.

2. Time permitting, I will respond with a comment of my own. I will rate your lunch on a scale of one to 10, and I will do my best to explain my rationale.

3. You will accept this ruling as accurate, absolute, and superseding of all municipal, state, and federal rulings.

You should know, friend, that while I am not out to hurt you, I will tell you your lunch is cruddy if it is cruddy, and I will not mince (food term) words.

It might take me a while to get to you. So as long as you’re hanging out, I’ve picked out three things we’ve done on SB Nation this week that I thought were particularly awesome.

HERE IS SOME CR*P TO READ

1.

Memphis_medium

- Spencer Hall, “The Grizzlies: Our finest humans, and also one bear”

Spencer has adopted the Grizz, the big lovable scary flamethrower-torched dump truck of the NBA, as his favorite team, and we’re all the better for it.

2.

Espino_medium

- Eric Nusbaum, “The Unknown Slugger”

Hector Espino hit between 755 and 796 home runs in Mexico. He was known as “The Babe Ruth of Mexico” and “The Rebel of Chihuahua,” and I’d never even heard of him before reading this terrific longform piece from Eric Nusbaum.

3.

Danonfire_medium

- Dan Rubenstein, “Dan On Fire: Why Johnny Manziel should transfer”

“Dan On Fire” is one of my favorite things on this entire dang website. Dan Rubenstein is completely serious and you should be mad at him. You have had a bicycle stolen before. Well, Dan Rubenstein was the one who stole it.

Alright, let’s get to it.

Friend, what did you eat for lunch today?
