Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial purse: Boo Weekley takes winner’s share of $6.4 million
Boo Weekley’s 4-under final round was good enough to hold off Matt Kuchar, landing Weekley’s the winner’s share of the more than six million dollars at stake.

Matt Kuchar finished just one stroke behind Weekley, for which he earned $691,200 of the purse. Zach Johnson finished third, one stroke behind Kuchar, and earned $435,200. That puts Kuchar and Weekley both in the top six of the overall money list. Tiger Woods leads that list with $5,849,600.
Kuchar entered the final round in the lead, but Weekley moved to the top of the leaderboard with a trio of birdies on holes 8-10. Kuchar collected only two birdies over his final nine, on holes 12 and 18, leaving him just short. He was the highest-ranked player in the field, with a No. 13 world ranking. With the third-place finish on Sunday, Johnson moves to third in the FedExCup standings, just 52 points behind Brandt Snedeker but still 918 behind leader Tiger Woods.
Prior to Sunday’s victory, Weekley’s most recent win was the 2008 Verizon Heritage, for which he earned $990,000.
