The Brooklyn Nets were never much of a television draw during the 2012-13 NBA season, and their Game 7 against the Chicago Bulls went out with a decent audience, but a bit of a thud overall.

Game 7 between Chicago and Brooklyn drew 4.4 million viewers to TNT on Saturday, a solid audience, but still the least-watched Game 7 since 2010, when Milwaukee and Atlanta drew just 3.1 million viewers on ABC. For context, the two Game 7s in last year’s first round drew 6.5 million (Lakers-Nuggets on ABC) and 4.7 million (Clippers-Grizzlies on TNT) viewers, respectively.
The game will still go down as the third-most watched game of the first round on cable, behind just Game 1 of the Bucks-Heat series (4.9 million) and Game 5 of the Rockets-Thunder series (5.1 million). The game also improved 4 percent on the timeslot it was in from last year, as Sixers-Celtics Game 1 (of a second-round series) drew 4.3 million viewers in 2012.
