Harrison Barnes injured after scary fall

    USA TODAY Sports

Update: Barnes started the second half and played the entire third quarter for Golden State before exiting the game indefinitely at the third quarter due to headaches.

Barnes remained down on the floor in serious pain before being helped off by the training staff and teammates. He immediately headed back to the locker room with a limp and a bandage near his head. As seen in the GIF below, Barnes hit the floor hard, sending Oracle Arena into silence.

Do Thompson and Curry deserve coaches’ hyperbole?

    Ronald Martinez

“Offensively, I’ve said I’ve got the greatest shooting backcourt that’s ever played the game,” he told reporters after the game. “Call my bluff.”

“I thought it was polite of them to at least take turns and not both be on fire in the same night,” he said. “Maybe the next iteration is that neither one of them will be hot in Game 3, that’s what I’m hoping.”

Heat dominate Bulls, 115-78, even series

    USA TODAY Sports

The Heat took control midway through the first half and never looked back, taking a 14-point edge into halftime before blowing Chicago out. Miami shot an absurd 60 percent from the floor, including 9 of 18 from behind the the three-point arc.

Chicago, on the other hand, just couldn’t get anything to fall. Part of that was a vastly improved defensive showing from Miami, although the Bulls missed a handful of shots they probably should’ve made. They made just 35 percent of their shot attempts and scored 18 points in the paint after scoring 40 in Game 1. Chicago had just two fast break points.

    Heat bros are the best

We already know Miami has some especially excitable fans, so this out of control Heat bro comes as no surprise:

And those bros who aren’t completely losing their minds are just looking cool in their kaleido-globe patterned shirts:

LeBron, Miami lead Chicago at halftime, 55-41

    USA TODAY Sports

Look for the physicality to continue in the second half, especially as Chicago aims to claw back on the scoreboard.

The Bulls struggled to find their rhythm offensively in the half, shooting just 39 percent from the field. Jimmy Butler led the way with nine points, while Noah had eight. Part of it was Miami really getting after it on the defensive end, while Chicago also missed some open shots they should’ve hit.

The Spurs’ fake arena playlist for Game 2

    Ronald Martinez

The Spurs’ thrilling comeback win over the Warriors was only the second-most exciting spectacle in San Antonio Monday night. It was nothing compared to the pump-up jams blasted through the AT&T Center PA system. They played LMFAO’s “Party Rock Anthem” right after the Spurs surrendered the lead. They played 1980s synth jams. They played Ricky Martin’s “Livin’ La Vida Loca.” It really blew my socks off, folded them together, tenderly tied a red ribbon around them, tucked in a note reading, “For you and your sandals tomorrow <3,” in calligraphy pen, and set them neatly in my sock drawer.

I couldn’t wait to hear the Spurs’ house music during tonight’s Game 2, so I jumped the gun and dug up the AT&T Center playlist. Here’s what we have in store:
