Robyn Regehr scores own goal as Kings’ bad night gets worse

Things are not going well for the Kings in Game 2.

Jamie Squire

It has been an ugly night all around for the Los Angeles Kings, who trailed 4-0 half way through Game 2 of their Western Conference Final with the Chicago Blackhawks.

How ugly?

The third Chicago goal was not scored by a Blackhawks player. Enter Robyn Regehr (number 44):

The goal was officially credited to Bryan Bickell, because someone needs credit for record-keeping purposes.

But we know. Oh, we know.

The Hawks scored just 2:09 after that one to make it 4-0 and Kings goalie Jonathan Quick was pulled for Jonathan Bernier. Mercy upon them both.
