Seattle Mariners ace Felix Hernandez battled the Los Angeles Angels on Thursday night, but did so while honoring Angels' former team physician Dr. Lewis Yocum. Yocum, a Tommy John surgery specialist and LA's orthopedist for 36 years, passed away in May.

Yocum examined Hernandez in the offseason before Hernandez finalized his then-record seven-year, $175 million contract extension with the Mariners.
