It is cooler, cloudy, breezy with scattered rain showers and drizzle this afternoon at Sonoma Raceway. These light rain showers have already caused a few delays and we could see a few more as we go through the remainder of the afternoon.
2013 NASCAR At Sonoma race day weather update: Rain delays the start of the Toyota Save Mart 350
As the Sprint Cup Toyota/Save Mart 350 was getting ready to start rain showers and sprinkles were occurring. Could we see anymore as we go through the day.

While I don’t anticipate major delays, because most of these showers will be light, don’t be surprised if we see a few more delays and yellow flags due to rain. We really need to get this race in today because the forecast for Monday and Tuesday are wetter than today. I think we can realistically get to halfway if not farther.
