2013 Official World Golf Rankings: Little change this week; Tiger Woods remains No. 1

Woods has had a hold on the No. 1 ranking for a while now, and that didn’t change this week.

There was no change in the top ten of the 2013 World Golf Rankings this week, leaving, as usual, Tiger Woods in first place. Woods retains a significant edge in the rankings over the golfers chasing him and is followed most closely by Rory McIlroy.

There actually was only one change within the top 15 -- Ernie Els jumped up to No. 14 -- because many of the top players were not in action over the weekend. Els claimed a victory on the European Tour to move up, and Ken Duke was the big winner on the PGA Tour, picking up his first career win and vaulting into the top 100.

Duke’s playoff victory at the Travelers Championship moved him up from 144th to 70th in the world. Runner-up Chris Stroud also jumped more than 70 positions.

Generally speaking, though, there wasn’t much in the way of significant movement within the top 100. Here is the current top ten, exactly as it was a week ago:

1. Tiger Woods
2. Rory McIlroy
3. Justin Rose
4. Adam Scott
5. Matt Kuchar
6. Phil Mickelson
7. Luke Donald
8. Brandt Snedeker
9. Graeme McDowell
10. Louis Oosthuizen
