Though there’s no chance for a Triple Crown winner this year, there’s plenty of reason to pay attention to Saturday’s Belmont Stakes, the 145th running of the race. Kentucky Derby winner Orb and Preakness Stakes winner Oxbow are both going to be in action as part of a field of 14, which ties for second-largest in race history.

The 145th running of the Belmont Stakes is set for Saturday, and here’s how you can watch it on TV, online or listen on the radio.


Orb is the favorite to win as of Friday night, at 11/4 odds, with Oxbow coming up at 6/1 odds, according to Bovada. Revolutionary has 11/2 odds between the two.
The post time is set for 6:36 p.m. ET. Live television coverage will be carried by NBC, with pre-race coverage on NBC Sports Network. You can find the pre-race coverage from 3 to 5 p.m., with NBC’s coverage running from 5 to 7 p.m.
If you want to watch online, your best option is at the NBC Sports website. If you have one of the qualifying television providers, then you’re set, and can tune in at 5 p.m. for all of the coverage from NBC’s television broadcast. If radio is more your thing, then you can check out the Horse Racing Radio Network, which carries all of the big races.
