World Golf Rankings 2013: Tiger Woods No. 1; Bill Haas moves up after victory

Little in the way of major changes occurred in the top 50, and Tiger is tops, as he has been for weeks.

It was another uneventful week within the top portion of the World Golf Ranking (pdf), and Tiger Woods remains the No. 1 player by a wide margin. Rory McIlroy, Justin Rose, Adam Scott and Matt Kuchar follow, as they did a week ago. Brandt Snedeker jumped from eighth to seventh, which is the extent of the change within the top 10.

Bill Haas, who won the AT&T National event over the weekend, vaulted up five spots to No. 24; he’s up 11 spots since the beginning of the year. Other than Haas, though, there was little more than minor shuffling here and there within the top 50.

Elsewhere, Paul Casey jumped 67 positions to No. 102 following a win at The Irish Open. Brendan Jones scored a victory at the Mizuno Open in Japan, which moved him into the top 100.

Here is the top 10:

1. Tiger Woods
2. Rory McIlroy
3. Justin Rose
4. Adam Scott
5. Matt Kuchar
6. Phil Mickelson
7. Brandt Snedeker
8. Luke Donald
9. Graeme McDowell
10. Louis Oosthuizen
