2013 World Golf Rankings: Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson top standings

It’s been a familiar refrain of late with the World Golf Rankings (pdf): Tiger Woods is No. 1, and there wasn’t much movement within the top 10. Phil Mickelson, Rory McIlroy, Justin Rose and Adam Scott round out the top five. Rose hopped over Scott this week, which was the only change within the top 13.

Brandt Snedeker won the RBC Canadian Open over the weekend, but that wasn’t enough to move him up from his seventh-place position. Matt Kuchar also played well in the tournament, and Hunter Mahan, who withdrew from the event after his wife went into labor, is holding steady at No. 22.

Generally speaking, the players in the top 100 didn’t move more than a couple of spots up or down this week. David Lingwerth was one of the few significant gainers, jumping 10 spots to No. 76 after his 12th-place finish at the RBC Canadian Open.
