The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series makes its second trip of the season to Michigan International Speedway for Sunday’s Pure Michigan 400. Pre-race coverage begins at noon ET on ESPN. The race broadcast starts at 1 p.m. ET, with the green flag scheduled to drop at 1:16 p.m.

Joey Logano won the pole position for Sunday’s race by turning in a track-record 203.949 mph qualifying lap Friday. It was Logano’s first pole win of 2013 and sixth of his career. He is joined on the front row by Kurt Busch, who starts the day 11th in the Sprint Cup standings. Point leader Jimmy Johnson qualified third and sits in the second row, starting alongside veteran Mark Martin.
Jeff Burton and Juan Pablo Montoya start the afternoon in the third row, with fan-favorite Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Denny Hamlin in row 4. Defending Sprint Cup champion Brad Keselowski starts from the fifth row, with Kyle Busch rounding out the top 10.
Clint Bowyer, who sits second in the Sprint Cup standings entering Sunday’s race, starts 11th. Greg Biffle, who has won the last two Sprint Cup races at Michigan International Speedway, begins the race in 16th position.
