The first match of the pay-per-view portion of tonight’s card is the “Ring of Fire” match between the demonic Kane and wrestling Cajun Zack Galifinakis impersonator Bray Wyatt. The two wrestlers are in a ring surrounded by flames that flare up whenever something cool happens. No disqualification rules are in place.
SummerSlam results: Bray Wyatt beats Kane with a big assist from the Family
They fell into a burning ring of fire, and the Wyatt Family eventually found their way inside.
The match itself was a bit slow, as the storyline revolved around Wyatt’s followers attempting to get around the flames and help their spiritual advisor. At one point, the Family tried to get Bray Wyatt a Kendo stick, but the stick was set afire. A fireman at ringside put out the flames:
Kane put Wyatt down with a chokeslam, but as he prepared to finish the big man off, the Wyatt family used a blanket to put down the flames and attack Kane. Wyatt hit his finisher on the already-beaten Kane and pinned the Big Red Monster for the win.
Wyatt then brought Kane outside the ring, where the Family set up an impromptu guillotine with the ring steps and smashed Kane in the head, then dragged Kane up the ramp. Bray Wyatt is one bad man.
