2013 NASCAR At Watkins Glen: Chance of rain for today

Showers and storms are still possible for today but better weather awaits for the weekend. Check out my complete NASCAR weather forecast for Watkins Glen International.

Cold front that brought strong storms and heavy rain to parts of central and western New York on Thursday will keep that threat around for this morning and parts of the afternoon for Watkins Glen International. Most of the rain should be done by midday with just a small chance of a lingering shower or storm for the afternoon. It will remain muggy and warm with highs in the afternoon in the upper 70s.

Cold front exits the region Friday night and behind it will be some pleasant racing weather. Saturday and Sunday will feature mostly sunny skies and pleasant temperatures. Highs both Saturday and Sunday will be in the mid 70s. Winds could be breezy on Saturday between 10 to 20 mph.
