The sixth season of the National Youth League in Australia is just over six weeks away. FFA have unveiled the fixture list for the 2013/14 season which will encompass eighteen rounds and last from October 26, 2013-March 2, 2014.
National Youth League fixtures released
The 18-game season begins in late October and runs through early March.

Damien de Bohun, who is head of the NYL, provided the obligatory quotes, via an FFA press release:
”Since the Foxtel National Youth League competition commenced in 2008, many youth players have earned professional contracts in the Hyundai A-League or with overseas clubs.
A great example of this elite player development is the case of Mitchell Duke from the Central Coast Mariners, who began as a youth player in 2009, made his Socceroos debut against the Korea Republic last month and [came on as a substitute] against Brazil [last] weekend in Brasilia.”
Indeed, the NYL has turned out more than a few strong players in recent years, from Bernie Ibini, Ben Halloran and James Meyer, each of whom has used the A-League as a springboard to earning foreign contracts, to Duke, Mitch Mallia (pictured), Steven Luštica, Nick Fitzgerald and Ndumba Makeche, who are expected to be contributors in the A-League this season.
The full fixture list can be found here and will be updated throughout the season.
