New England quarterback Tom Brady will have to look for new targets against the Jets in their Week 2 matchup, because his two most popular weapons will be on the sidelines. Wide receiver Danny Amendola and tight end Rob Gronkowski will miss the AFC East clash with injuries, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Both players were listed as doubtful heading into the Thursday night contest.
Patriots injuries: Rob Gronkowski, Danny Amendola expected to miss Jets game
Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is expected to be without his two biggest weapons when New England hosts the Jets in Week 2.

Along with Gronkowski and Amendola, running back Shane Vereen has been placed on injured reserve with a "designated to return" tag, after having surgery on a broken bone in his arm this week. Brady will have to use running back Stevan Ridley and rookie wide receiver Kenbrell Thompkins to put up points against the Jets.
The Patriots host the Jets Thursday night on NFL Network at 8:25 p.m. ET.
