Canelo was looking to get his jab going again, with Floyd looking to work the same weapon. Canelo got his first work in to the body in the round, going to the body with both hands. Mayweather got his own left hook going at one point and missed with a right uppercut as Canelo kept going to the body.
The Mayweather jab remained a strong weapon in the round. Canelo got a lead left hook late in the round and continued his body work.
