Canelo Alvarez needed to get it going a bit in the fifth round against Floyd Mayweather. Every round had been close to this point in the fight, but Floyd was doing enough to probably be up on the scorecards.

Early on, Mayweather started to really get his jab going with good success. But Canelo landed a big left hand that caused Floyd to smile in acknowldgement. Canelo then started working his own jab with success.
Mayweather settled down and started to pop his shots againbut Canelo still managed to catch some good counters.
