Canelo Alvarez’s corner told him “it’s time to start winning rounds” before he went out for round six against Floyd Mayweather. Canelo went out and landed a hard left but Mayweather returned fire.

Canelo started to try to pressure a bit more but Mayweather still worked his hard jab and occasional straight right hand game. Canelo landed a good three punch combo but Mayweather landed his own combo in return. Canelo shoulder butted Mayweather in the clinch and the two men jawed back and forth. Canelo then landed some heavy shots.
Floyd opened up late in the round which may have been enough for him to take it.
