The Cardinals will likely have their top offensive weapon when they host the Lions in Week 2. According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Arizona wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald is expected to play against Detroit and will test his injured hamstring during pregame workouts. The veteran tweaked his hamstring during practice on Wednesday.
Larry Fitzgerald injury: Cardinals star expected to play vs. Lions
The Cardinals are likely to have Larry Fitzgerald on the field against Detroit.

Fitzgerald was listed as questionable on the Cardinals' injury report this week. The team went as far as to promote practice squad wide receiver Kerry Taylor as insurance, in case Fitzgerald had to miss the game. Arizona waived 2012 third-round pick Jamell Fleming in order to make room for Taylor. With Fitzgerald likely to play, it is uncertain whether Taylor will see the field in Week 2 or last on the roster past the weekend.
Fitzgerald has not missed a game since 2007. He had eight receptions for 80 yards and two touchdowns during the Cardinals' Week 2 loss to the Rams.
The Cardinals will host the Lions on FOX at 4:05 p.m. ET.
