Colts promote WR Da’Rick Rogers to active roster
The Colts have added some depth to their wide receiver group.

Rogers went undrafted in April but competed on the Bills roster this summer. He was let go by Buffalo in late-August and eventually signed with Colts as a practice squad player shortly before the start of the season. Rogers' promotion comes after less than three weeks as a practice player.
The Tennessee Tech alum is known for having off-the-field and character issues. He was suspended by Tennessee in 2011 and eventually transferred from the school after failing three drug tests. Before leaving Tennessee, he was considered a potential first-round pick and was named to the All-SEC first team as a sophomore.
The Colts will travel to San Francisco to face the 49ers in Week 3 on CBS at 4:25 p.m. ET.
