2013 NASCAR At New Hampshire weather forecast: Rain tonight into Sunday

Rain will spread across New England Saturday night into Sunday, but will the rain cause a long rain delay like it did last weekend for NASCAR. Meteorologist Brian Neudorff has your complete NASCAR weather forecast for New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Rain remains in the forecast for New Hampshire Motor Speedway tonight and Sunday morning as NASCAR prepares for the second race in the Chase for the Sprint Cup.

Cold front moving across the Great Lakes will spread rain showers across New York and New England, with some good soaking rains likely during the morning hours of Sunday. The good news for NASCAR and its fans is the rain looks to come to an end sometime around midday on Sunday. While this timing could cause a delay to the start of the race, I am still confident NASCAR can race Sunday afternoon.

I’d say the likelihood of racing on Sunday is better than it was last weekend around 75-80%. As we get closer to Sunday I will continue monitor the forecast and also the rain as it moves across New Hampshire Sunday morning.
