The last thing NASCAR or any NASCAR fan wants to see is a rainy weather on another race day. Rain is likely today but mostly in the morning. I expect the rain to exit out sometime between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. EDT. The only concern I really have for a weather delay is the start of the race. If the rain doesn’t end until 1 p.m. then the start of the race could be delayed.
2013 NASCAR At New Hampshire race day weather forecast
Rain associated with a cold front will move across New Hampshire and Mew Hampshire Motor Speedway. Most of the rain will fall in the morning but will it impact the NASCAR Sprint Cup race.

The only other minor concern is a lingering shower or storm after the front passes. That threat is very low and any rain will be isolated. I don’t think this is a major concern but it is still possible. Bottom line, despite the weather weather to start the day, NASCAR does get the second Chase for the Sprint Cup race completed today.
