TBS will premiere their coverage of the MLB postseason tomorrow night, with a preview of said coverage Monday night at 8 p.m. ET with a tiebreaker game.
TBS adds Mark DeRosa, announces broadcast teams for the Division Series
The lead team of Ernie Johnson, Cal Ripken, Ron Darling and Craig Sager will call Dodgers/Braves, as well as the NL Wild Card.

The network has revamped things a little this post-season. The studio show will be headlined by host Keith Olbermann, with analysts Pedro Martinez and Tom Verducci. Dirk Hayhurst will also contribute, while 16-year MLB veteran Mark DeRosa will be a guest studio analyst Oct. 1-3.
Without the Yankees involved in the MLB postseason for just the second time under TBS’ watch, I thought it’d be interesting to see if the Dodgers or the Red Sox (the two highest-profile teams in the playoffs) would receive TBS’ ‘A’-team. Turns out its the Dodgers. Ernie Johnson, Ron Darling, Cal Ripken and Craig Sager will call their NL Division Series against the Atlanta Braves. That crew will also call the NL Wild Card game between Cincinnati and Pittsburgh on Tuesday.
Other assignments: the Red Sox will get TBS’ ‘B’-team, as Brian Anderson, John Smoltz, and Joe Simpson will call their series with reporter Rachel Nichols. That crew will also call the AL Wild Card game, and tonight’s tiebreaker game, with David Aldridge substituting in Nichols role. Aldridge will also serve as a sideline reporter for the Detroit-Oakland series, with Don Orsillo, Buck Martinez and Dennis Eckersley. The remaining series, featuring the winner of the NL Wild Card against St. Louis, will be called by Dick Stockton, Bob Brenly and Matt Winer.
