Television billionaire and defective animatronic ham sculpture Donald Trump was never going to buy the Buffalo Bills, for a variety of extremely good reasons, and did not in fact wind up buying the Buffalo Bills. Trump did put in a bid — presumably a freezer truck full of remaindered Trump Steaks and photo of himself and Meat Loaf on a golf course — but was outbid by actual non-TV billionaire Terry Pegula.
Donald Trump says the Bills are doomed because he didn’t buy them

This might have been the end of it, had Trump not taken to Twitter on Monday morning to share some luxurious and extremely popular sour grapes regarding Pegula and the Bills.
The people of Buffalo should be happy Terry Pegula got the team but I hope he does better w/the Bills than he has w/the Sabres. Good luck!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) October 13, 2014 Even though I refused to pay a ridiculous price for the Buffalo Bills, I would have produced a winner. Now that won’t happen.
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) October 13, 2014 The @nfl games are so boring now that actually, I’m glad I didn’t get the Bills. Boring games, too many flags, too soft!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) October 13, 2014 It honestly is still the end of it, since nothing that Trump says about their football team will or should ever matter to Bills fans.
We can all go back to ignoring Donald Trump now. Sorry to disturb you.
