After an awful start to Sunday's game against the Buffalo Bills, the New York Jets have opted to bench Geno Smith in favor of Michael Vick. Smith was benched within his first eight passing attempts. He went just 2-for-8 for 5 yards before going to the sideline.
Michael Vick replaces struggling Geno Smith against Bills
The Jets have turned to Michael Vick in place of a struggling Geno Smith on Sunday against the Bills.

Vick enters the game having to dig the Jets out of an early 14-0 deficit. Bills quarterback Kyle Orton has already thrown two touchdown passes, finding Robert Woods and Lee Smith for scores.
Vick replaced Smith earlier this season in a 31-0 loss to the San Diego Chargers. He was unable to improve the Jets' fortunes much going 8-for-19 for 47 yards.
Unfortunately for the Jets, the concern isn’t as much whether Vick can make them respectable, but whether the team can have a positive future with Smith running the offense. The second-year passer has shown very little improvement from a rocky rookie season. He now has 10 interceptions to seven touchdown passes this season.
