Watch Kobe Bryant shoot 37 times against the Suns
The Lakers’ star shooting guard attempted an absurd 37 shots against Phoenix on Tuesday night. Here’s your chance to watch every single one of them.

We all knew that Kobe Bryant would take a lot of shots on this Los Angeles Lakers team given its current construction. I'm not sure if anyone predicted that we'd see the future Hall of Famer launch up 37 shots in just his fifth game of the season, though.
The video above shows the full highlights of Bryant's absurd performance in a 112-106 loss to the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday night. Kobe finished with a game-high 39 points on 14-of-37 shooting, including 3-of-7 from three-point range. He also went 8-of-12 from the free throw line in 44 minutes of action.
This is probably where we should point out that Bryant is 36 years old, making his performance on Tuesday relatively historic. As Marc Stein of ESPN pointed out, only Wizards-era Michael Jordan has ever tossed up that many shots at that age, and again, we're only five games into the season.
Bryant made some pretty spectacular shots against the Suns, as you can see in the video, but he also forced a stunning number of poor looks. This isn’t new, either, as he’s currently averaging over 24 shots per game, significantly more than any other player in the NBA. Kobe’s taken a look at his situation, and decided that shooting a ton is his best option.
That may not be great news for the Lakers, since Bryant is shooting just 40 percent this season, but given the lack of alternatives, it may be something to get used to. Unless coach Byron Scott can somehow convince his star guard to shoot less -- which isn't likely -- this will likely be the first of several games that can be turned into lengthy Kobe highlight videos.
