The Indianapolis Colts won a second straight AFC South title Sunday after defeating the Houston Texans, 17-10, at home. The Colts have now won four division titles in six seasons, and eight titles from 2003 onward. With a playoff berth secured, they will play out their lost two weeks to find out their seed in the AFC playoff bracket.
NFL playoff picture 2014: Colts win AFC South title
The Colts are one of the first teams into the NFL postseason after beating the Texans to win the AFC South on Sunday.

At 10-4 on the season, the Colts are just behind the Denver Broncos and New England Patriots for one of the AFC's top two seeds and a first-round bye. Unfortunately for Indianapolis, it lost to both teams during the regular season, so even if it finishes with an identical record as Denver and New England it will at best earn the No. 3 seed.
The Colts weren’t challenged much this by their division rivals. With the win, the Colts improved to 5-0 against the AFC South. The Texans have clinched second place with relatively meager 7-7 record.
Regardless of the Colts' postseason fate, the 2014 seasons will be remember as the year that Andrew Luck busted out. Heading into Week 15, he led the league with 4,305 yards passing, and ranked seventh among qualifying passers with a 98.8 quarterback rating. With a penchant for leading the Colts to late-game comeback wins, Luck (along with a remarkable receiving corps) makes Indianapolis one of the most dangerous teams in the 2014 postseason.
