SB Nation 2014 Olympics Preview

The events of the XXII Winter Olympiad, in Sochi, Russia, press on Tuesday. More curling (CURLING, CURLING!), the Olympic debuts of women’s freeski slopestyle and women’s ski jumping, and men’s snowboard halfpipe highlight a day in which Americans should once again make some noise and boost the overall medal count.

Can the U.S. women curl their way past Great Britain and hometown Russia as the round-robin play continues, can the lady ski jumpers prove they belong after years of fighting for inclusion, and can snowboarder Shaun White go three in a row in the pipe? The answers to these questions and many more on Tuesday.

Live broadcasts: NBCOlympics.com
Tape delay: NBC, 8-11:30 p.m. ET Tuesday

For those looking to watch the Games on TV, you may have noticed there is a tape delay due to the nine-hour time difference for the East Coast. So, if that’s good enough, catch the Olympics in primetime from 8-11:30 p.m. ET, or watch the prime replay from 1:05-4:30 a.m. ET.

Those preferring to watch it online, NBC is streaming all of the events live on NBCOlympics.com, but you’ll need the proper package via a service provider (or, you know, a code from one of your friends) for access. Those who gain appropriate access, jump over to NBC Olympics Live Extra and just sit back and watch. A full schedule of events can be viewed here.
