Winter Olympics 2014 skiing schedule: Men’s super combined the main event
The big skiing event of the day is the men’s super combined, along with the women’s freestyle aerials. Your complete schedule for Friday.

It’s a busy day for skiing on Friday, with four medal events on tap for the day. The top event looks to be the men’s super combined event.
As the name implies, the super combined is one event consisting of a downhill run and slalom run. The aggregate time is used to determine the final standings. The men start with the downhill run at 2 a.m. ET and begin the slalom at 6:30 a.m., after which the medals will be handed out. American Bode Miller is competing in this event, and will be hoping to salvage something out of his final Olympic games after a disappointing performance in the downhill run.
The other big medal event of the day is the women’s freestyle aerials. The qualification runs start at 8:45 a.m. and the final runs begin at 12:30 p.m. There will be three different finals runs taking place to determine who gets on the podium.
