Curling continues on Saturday with more qualifying rounds. We’re past the halfway point in the round robin matches, and can now start separating the wheat from the chaff as the semifinal round gets closer.

The women start the day off with three matches at midnight (ET). Canada, hoping to stay undefeated in these games, faces a Japanese team trying to stay in contention with a 2-3 record. Sweden and China would both be through to the semifinal round if it started today, but a win would help further solidify their place. Great Britain is tied for third place and is looking to put away the South Korean also-rans.

The men hit the ice at 5 a.m. with some intriguing matches on tap. Great Britain-Canada looks like the best game on paper here, with the Canadians trying to rally after a slow start to the games. Considered a heavy medal favorite, Canada are sitting in fourth place and need a win here to stay ahead, but the Brits are in a strong position with a 5-1 record.

Once those matches finish up, the women will have another round at 10 a.m. with four more matches. Not much at stake in this session, but 3-3 Russia will try to score an upset win over Canada and get into the upper tier of the standings.

Here’s your complete schedule for the day (all times ET):

12 a.m. - Women’s round robin, session 8

Canada vs. Japan, China vs. Sweden, Great Britain vs. South Korea

5 a.m. - Men’s round robin, session 9

Sweden vs. Germany, Denmark vs. Switzerland, Canada vs. Great Britain, Russia vs. China

10 a.m. - Women’s round robin, session 9

USA vs. Sweden, Canada vs. Russia, Great Britain vs. Switzerland, Denmark vs. China
