Olympic snowboarding 2014 schedule: Two medal events on Wednesday

A long day of snowboarding begins just after midnight on the East Coast.

Wednesday figures to be a busy day for snowboarding.

The United States has had plenty of success on the slopes so far this Olympics, and that should continue on Wednesday. Both the men’s and women’s parallel slalom events will go from the qualification stages through the medal events.

Starting just after midnight on the east coast, the women’s parallel giant slalom will have its first event. Just over five hours later, both the men’s and women’s events will have crowned medalists.

Here’s a full schedule for the snowboarding events on Wednesday.

12:15 a.m. ET: Ladies’ Parallel Giant Slalom - Qualification
12:42 a.m. ET: Men’s Parallel Giant Slalom - Qualification
1:09 a.m. ET: Ladies’ Parallel Giant Slalom - Elimination Run
1:36 a.m. ET: Men’s Parallel Giant Slalom - Elimination Run
4:00 a.m. ET: Ladies’ Parallel Giant Slalom - 1/8 Final
4:12 a.m. ET: Men’s Parallel Giant Slalom - 1/8 Final
4:48 a.m. ET: Ladies’ Parallel Giant Slalom - Quarterfinal
4:54 a.m. ET: Men’s Parallel Giant Slalom - Quarterfinal
5:15 a.m. ET: Ladies’ Parallel Giant Slalom - Semifinal
5:18 a.m. ET: Men’s Parallel Giant Slalom - Semifinal
5:31 a.m. ET: Ladies’ Parallel Giant Slalom - Final
5:35 a.m. ET: Men’s Parallel Giant Slalom - Final
