Even though the Los Angeles Clippers still don't have Chris Paul, there was plenty of reason to be excited for the Clippers-Heat game on Wednesday night. Two of those reasons were Blake Griffin and LeBron James. Here's what they did in the first quarter.
Blake Griffin, LeBron James put on a show in first quarter of Clippers vs. Heat
The first quarter of Clippers-Heat was pretty entertaining.
LeBron came rumbling through the paint and absolutely crushed a dunk.
And then Blake Griffin threw down a big time two-handed dunk and Dwyane Wade RAN out of the way.
Blake Griffin would have had the best play of the quarter if he had been able to finish this alley-oop...but a certain Birdman got in the way. Seriously though, what is Birdman thinking here? Has he not seen what usually happens to guys that try to contest Blake Griffin's dunk attempts? Birdman just barely gets a hand on the ball and deflects the dunk. It's a great play by Birdman, but he was very very close to ending up on a poster for the rest of eternity.
