SB Nation 2014 Olympics Preview

Monday’s Olympic schedule has a lot of promising events on tap. There are five medal events set to take place in skiing, biathlon and speed skating.

In addition, curling gets underway in full force with a combined twelve qualification matches, along with two more games in women’s ice hockey. The American hockey women are heavy favorites to make the finals in that sport and will be taking on Switzerland, hoping to build off their dominant 3-1 win over Finland on Saturday. The Finnish women won’t have any easier time against Canada, the other gold medal favorite.
