Dwyane Wade fined for flopping in NBA Finals Game 2
Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade responded to a steal attempt by Manu Ginobili as if he’d been punched in the face, and the NBA has fined him $5,000 for flopping.

The NBA has decided to fine Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade $5,000 for a flop against Manu Ginobili in Game 2 of the 2014 NBA Finals. The league has been attempting to crack down on flagrant flopping over the past year or so and Wade becomes the fourth player to be warned and/or fined in the 2014 NBA playoffs thus far, joining Spurs center Tiago Splitter, Pacers guard Lance Stephenson, and Pacers center Roy Hibbert.
In the second quarter, Wade received a pass from Mario Chalmers at the side of the court. Manu Ginobili attempted to swat the ball out of his hands, but Wade shot his head backwards as if he'd been punched in the face.
After a slow-mo replay of the foul, it was clearly evident that Wade sold much more contact than there was. Ginobili made some contact with Wade’s arm attempting to steal the ball, but he never hit him in the face, which is the reaction Wade gave to sell the foul.
