Wimbledon 2014 scores and results: Petra Kvitova wins 2nd title
The women’s singles bracket of Wimbledon has now concluded with Petra Kvitova picking up her second Wimbledon title.

The 24-year-old Kvitova won her first Wimbledon title back in 2011, taking down Maria Sharapova in straight sets. On her way to her 2014 title, Kvitova entered Wimbledon seeded 6th and took down Andrea Hlavackova and Mona Barthel in the first two rounds. Her title run was nearly derailed in the third round against Serena Williams, when Kvitova was just two points from being eliminated, but battled back and won in three sets and advanced.
After that tough match, Kvitova took down Shuai Peng in the fourth round, Barbora Zahlavova Strycova and Lucie Šafářová in the next two rounds before meeting Eugenie Bouchard in the final.
