Mayweather vs. Maidana 2 weigh-in results: Floyd 146.5, Maidana 146

Floyd Mayweather is the slightly heavier man at the weigh-ins for his rematch with Marcos Maidana.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Marcos Maidana hit the scales tonight in Las Vegas, Nevada, looking to make tomorrow night’s rematch on Showtime pay-per-view official.

Both men walked out to the stage to a great deal of cheering, especaially notable was an unusually enthusiastic reaction to Mayweather’s entrance. He walked in a green track suit with a hat reading “Money just make it.”

Maidana had to step on the scales first as the challenger. With a weight limit of 147 pounds for this welterweight title fight, Maidana came in a pound under at 146.

Mayweather stepped up next, looking to be in great shape as always. He actually was the bigger man tonight, checking in at 146.5.

With the weigh in festivities out of the way, the fight is official and the titles will be on the line.

The card kicks off at 8 p.m. ET tomorrow night on Showtime pay-per-view.
