Mayweather vs Maidana 2 results: James de la Rosa dominates Alfredo Angulo for decision win
James de la Rosa dominated Alfredo Angulo, knocking him down in the second round to win by unanimous decision.

Using speed against the flat footed Angulo, de la Rosa stung with combos and was even able to club Angulo and drop him in the second round.
It was the same story for much of the fight as Angulo looked old, slow and ineffective. De la Rosa stayed on the outside and chose the moments where they would exchange, he was able to win seemingly every round of the fight.
Prior to round nine, Angulo’s corner told him how it was, stating simply, “If you don’t knock him out, your career is over.” It seemed to fire Angulo up as he came out and dropped some heavy shots that had de la Rosa’s legs wobbled, but in the end he was able to make it to the bell and get to the final round.
He would have to survive three more minutes of brute force offense from Angulo in the final round, but he was able to do so and get to the scorecards where it seemed he should win a wide decision.
The official judge’s scorecards read: 98-90, 96-92, 99-89 all for James de la Rosa.
