Floyd Mayweather and Marcos Maidana are back in the ring at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas for a rematch of their welterweight title fight from May 3. Mayweather won a controversial decision over Maidana in their first encounter, but Maidana held his own for 12 rounds and earned a draw on judge Michael Pernick’s scorecard in their first fight.

Floyd Mayweather is a -650 favorite to beat Marcos Maidana in their rematch on Saturday night in Las Vegas.


Four months later, the two are back on Showtime pay-per-view, with the undercard kicking off at 8 p.m. ET.
Mayweather, undefeated in 45 professional fights, opened at a -800 favorite, but as of Saturday afternoon was down to -650 at Bovada, still a heavy favorite. Maidana is at +425 to win.

Saturday night’s fight card will also feature junior welterweights John Molina Jr. and Humberto Soto squaring off, as will middleweights Alfredo Angulo and James de la Rosa, super bantamweights Leo Santa Cruz and Manuel Roman, and lightweights Miguel Vazquez and Mickey Bey.
